As a Training Provider
with Government funding we will arrange your training,
monitor and control your progress until you successfully
gain your nationally recognised NVQs qualification.

You can complete the
application form included in this pack and return it to
us and we will then arrange to meet you. Alternatively,
you can tell your Careers Adviser that you are interested
and if we are due to come into your School to carry out
Aptitude Tests we will, as a first step, arrange to meet

The work you are required to undertake may
be physically demanding so you must be fit and healthy.
You must be able to accept that you are in a learning situation
and that those people who you are working with are there
to help you. Instructions must be followed, but at the same
time you will be expected to think for yourself. It is important
to be a good timekeeper and maintain a good attendance record.
Remember, if you are absent someone else will have to do
your share of the work.

You would be required
to be studying for your GCSE's and anticipate obtaining
a reasonable standard of Mathematics and English.
Mathematical ability would be
needed to measure and calculate areas and volumes accurately.
A reasonable standard of English
would be needed to interpret drawings, product information
etc. and to be able to understand both written and verbal
instructions.
As some crafts require a higher
level of academic ability than others, we carry out our
own simple Aptitude Test. These tests are carried out by
us either at your School or at our offices.
